Emirates International Endurance Village System Accredited By FEI For World Championships
The Emirates International Endurance Village (EIEV) has recently achieved a significant milestone with the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) granting approval for its endurance racing system to be utilized in world championship events. This approval marks a pivotal moment for the EIEV, underlining its commitment to enhancing the sport of endurance racing on a global scale. The system's endorsement by the FEI is a testament to the innovative approach and technological advancements that the EIEV has introduced to the sport.
Central to this achievement is the support and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. His Highness's leadership has been instrumental in propelling the EIEV to the forefront of endurance racing worldwide, fostering an environment where innovation and excellence thrive.

The EIEV's system is designed to optimize the management of endurance races, ensuring accuracy in results while promoting fairness and transparency. It includes several key components:
- Timing System: This feature accurately records the time spent by horses from the start through each stage of the race, calculating both stage durations and overall race time.
- Horse Heart Rate Monitoring System: A continuous monitoring system ensures the well-being of participating horses, preventing overexertion by keeping track of their heart rates.
- GPS Tracking System: This system provides real-time data on the location of horses throughout the race, ensuring they adhere to the designated course.
This comprehensive system has positioned the EIEV as a pioneer in endurance racing management in the Middle East, setting a new standard for how endurance races are conducted worldwide.
The official FEI accreditation paves the way for the EIEV's system to be implemented at major international events, including the upcoming 2025 FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Riders & Juniors in Buftea, Romania. Scheduled for September 5-6, this championship will benefit from the enhanced accuracy and fairness that the EIEV's system brings to endurance racing.
Muslim Al-Amri, General Manager of EIEV, expressed his gratitude towards His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed for his continuous support and patronage. Al-Amri highlighted that this recent endorsement by the FEI not only reflects EIEV's strong track record of achievements but also reaffirms its commitment to innovation and global collaboration in endurance racing.
In his statement, Al-Amri emphasized, "EIEV is poised to continue its remarkable trajectory, further cementing its position as a global hub for endurance racing." This sentiment underscores EIEV’s dedication to advancing the sport through technological innovation and strategic partnerships.
The endorsement by FEI marks a significant step forward for EIEV, showcasing its leadership in promoting excellence and innovation in endurance racing. As it prepares for future events, EIEV remains committed to maintaining its status as a global leader in the sport, fostering an environment where technological advancements and strategic planning lead to enhanced competitive integrity and sportsmanship.
