Fakhr Forum 2023: Honouring Emirati Youth In National Service And Their Contributions
The Fakhr Forum, under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, recently held its second edition. This event was organised by the Federal Youth Authority in partnership with the National Service & Reserve Authority. It aims to honour Emirati youth involved in the National Service Programme, celebrating their dedication and reinforcing national values.
In attendance were numerous Sheikhs, ministers, and dignitaries. The Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah delivered a keynote speech at the forum. He stated: "The UAE wise leadership has always believed that building the future begins with preparing a generation of aware youth who believe in their role and are conscious of their responsibilities. They are the hope upon which our aspirations are built and the strength that drives change."
The forum's primary focus is on instilling pride, sacrifice, and generosity among young Emiratis. By doing so, it seeks to establish these values as core elements of their identity. This initiative also highlights the significant contributions of young people in serving their nation, showcasing their exemplary experiences.
Fakhr Forum reflects on 53 years of UAE's progress marked by construction, development, and ambition. It underscores the nation's achievements through relentless efforts and sacrifices. The forum serves as a platform to reaffirm the UAE leadership’s commitment to supporting those who contribute to national security and stability.
The inaugural Fakhr Forum took place in 2019. It was part of a broader effort to raise awareness about national responsibility. The event embodies the UAE's vision of nurturing generations who understand their crucial role in shaping the country's future.
The Crown Prince emphasised that preparing aware youth is essential for building a promising future. This belief aligns with the UAE's aspirations for progress driven by responsible young citizens. The forum thus plays a vital role in fostering this understanding among Emirati youth.
This year's edition continues to build on past successes by promoting loyalty and belonging among participants. By celebrating these values, it strengthens the bond between young Emiratis and their nation, ensuring they remain committed to its prosperity.
