New Installment Payment Plan For Service Fees In UAE, Starting from AED500 Unveiled At GITEX 2025

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security has introduced "The Authority at Your Service" during GITEX Global 2025. This initiative allows credit card holders from 10 UAE banks to pay service fees in installments. Customers can choose repayment periods between three and 12 months, with no profit rate, for fees starting from AED500.

Credit card users can access this payment plan by contacting their bank's call centre or using digital channels. Visa cardholders have direct installment options available. The participating banks include First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, and others, along with Visa International.

Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director-General of the Authority, stated that this initiative aligns with the authority’s goal of adopting innovative financial solutions. It aims to keep pace with technological advancements while ensuring efficiency and transparency in services.

Al Khaili emphasised that the initiative helps customers manage financial commitments effectively. It supports the Year of Community 2025 objectives by offering payment solutions that reduce financial burdens and enhance quality of life.

The initiative also contributes to the Authority's strategic goals by focusing on customer-centric services. It aims to make the customer experience more seamless and positive across all service channels.

Major General Ahmed Mayouf Al Amri, Acting Director-General of Support Services at the Authority, highlighted that flexible payment options align with their vision of improving quality of life through innovative solutions.

This approach not only eases financial pressures but also promotes customer satisfaction and happiness by providing convenient payment methods tailored to individual needs.
