Global Muslim Community To Access Fatwa Symposium In 20 Languages, Says Al-Sudais

Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of the Religious Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, announced a project to translate the proceedings of the second edition of the Fatwa Symposium into 20 languages. The symposium will be held in Madinah this Tuesday. This initiative aims to communicate the symposium's message, objectives, and outcomes effectively to Muslims worldwide.

The translation project aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which seeks to modernise religious services. By translating into multiple languages, the initiative ensures that Muslims globally can access and understand the content. This effort reflects the strong support from Saudi leadership for religious programs.

Fatwa Symposium in 20 Languages

Al-Sudais highlighted that 50 million people are expected to benefit from this translation project. He stressed its importance in making the symposium's outcomes accessible to the global Muslim community. Translations help visitors to the two holy mosques better grasp the content in their native languages.

The translations will cover English, French, Indonesian, Urdu, Persian, Spanish, Malay, Portuguese, Russian, Bengali, Chinese, Turkish, Hausa, Amharic, Italian, Swahili, German, Filipino, Bosnian, and Malayalam. These translations will be available through various platforms such as a dedicated mobile application, the presidency's website, and Manarat Al-Haramain platform.

This significant step aims to enhance global outreach of religious discourse from the two holy mosques. Ensuring that their messages resonate with Muslims worldwide is a key objective of this initiative.

"This endeavor aligns with the Kingdom's Vision 2030," said Al-Sudais. "It aims to modernize religious services." He emphasized that translations enrich visitors' experiences by enabling them to understand content in their native languages.
