Fatima Bint Mubarak Contributes AED 172 Million To Support Life Endowment Campaign For Chronic Disease Patients

H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak has made a significant contribution to the "Life Endowment" campaign by donating an AED172 million building. This initiative, which supports patients with chronic diseases, reflects the UAE's commitment to sustainable charity. The building, previously known as "Deena Tower," has been renamed "Life Tower" to highlight the campaign's humanitarian mission.

Sheikha Fatima emphasised that the UAE takes pride in its values and principles, which have become a part of its societal culture. These values inspire individuals and institutions to work together for well-being and empowerment both locally and globally. Her Highness stated, "The Life Endowment campaign, which supports patients with chronic diseases, is an exceptional initiative stemming from the values of giving and generosity instilled by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan."

The campaign aims to provide financial and mental health support to patients who cannot afford treatment costs. Organised under the slogan "With You For Life," it is a collaboration between Awqaf Abu Dhabi, the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, Emirates Red Crescent, and Ma'an. It seeks contributions to establish an endowment covering treatment costs and investing in service development.

Sheikha Fatima called on business leaders, philanthropists, and community members to support this cause. She said, "Healthcare is a fundamental human right that must be accessible to everyone. The Life Endowment embodies this right through compassion and solidarity." Her appeal aims to ensure sustainable healthcare services for vulnerable individuals with chronic diseases.

The generous grant from Sheikha Fatima will help achieve the campaign's goals of providing sustainable healthcare funding and offering hope to those with chronic illnesses. Several channels have been established for contributions: a digital donation platform by Awqaf Abu Dhabi; bank transfers to First Abu Dhabi Bank (IBAN Number: AE930353417000004600004); SMS donations via e& UAE numbers (e.g., SMS ‘Life’ to 3557 for AED10) or du numbers (e.g., SMS ‘Life’ to 3583 for AED10).
