‘Farhat And The Family’ Theatrical Show Celebrates Success In Abu Dhabi
Amidst the vibrant cultural scene of Abu Dhabi, the National Theatre recently hosted a remarkable theatrical performance titled "Farhat and the Family," which concluded to widespread acclaim. This event, held over the Eid al-Fitr holidays, was a testament to the inclusive vision of the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination. The organisation, in collaboration with celebrated artist Mohamed Henedy and with sponsorship from the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company "TAQA," showcased an empowering narrative for people of determination.
The performance was a creative endeavour to integrate talented individuals with special abilities into the realms of artistic and social life. It underscored the organisation's commitment to nurturing the creative talents of people from various categories of determination. Notably, the event saw participation from Sultan Al-Siyabi, Baraa Osama, Mazna Ahmed, and Maryam Hamdan, among others, who have all surpassed performance trials and undergone specialised training under the "Talented Abilities" initiative.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy aimed at fostering an inclusive environment and engaging people of determination in various fields. The goal is to affirm Abu Dhabi's leading position in empowering these individuals as integral members of society. The theatrical performance also featured a distinguished group of Egyptian stars including Mohamed Tharwat, Mai Kassab, Ouss Ouss, Yasser El Tobgy, Ahmed Sultan, Rana El Sha'afie, Mona Gamal, and Ghaya Al Mass. The script and direction were masterfully handled by Nader Salah El-Din.
The audience lauded the performance for its innovative approach to discussing social issues through comedy. It highlighted transformations and challenges within society while raising awareness among diverse age groups. Furthermore, it underscored important national development goals, with a particular emphasis on sustainability.
