Family Space Project Launched At GITEX Global 2025 To Support Abu Dhabi Families
Eng. Hamad Ali Al Dhaheri, Undersecretary of the Department of Community Development – Abu Dhabi (DCD), along with social sector leaders, attended the launch of the "Family Space" project at GITEX Global 2025. This initiative on the "TAMM" platform aims to streamline access to government services for families in Abu Dhabi through a unified smart dashboard.
The "Family Space" project is a collaborative effort between DCD and the Department of Government Enablement (DGE) alongside other government bodies. It seeks to empower families by providing an integrated digital experience that simplifies managing daily needs. The platform offers services across various life stages, from marriage and education to overall family well-being.

The platform features an interactive interface with a personalised control panel for each family. Users can access essential government services like document issuance, school registration, academic monitoring, and transport tracking. Specialised services are also available for senior citizens and people of determination (POD).
Among its innovative tools is the "Family Tree," which visually displays family data and connects users to customised information and services for each member. This feature enhances user interaction by providing tailored experiences based on individual family needs.
The "TAMM" platform simplifies access to over 190 digital services in one location, ensuring an integrated experience that boosts service efficiency and quality while supporting family and community well-being. The seamless user journey aims to enhance service delivery through technology.
During his visit, Al Dhaheri explored various digital initiatives showcasing Abu Dhabi Government's commitment to leveraging technology for improved quality of life and service integration. He noted that these projects embody the government's vision of advancing community services using AI and modern technologies.
Focus on Family Empowerment
Al Dhaheri stated: "Today’s visit to the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025 has allowed for stakeholders in the social sector to explore a range of innovative digital projects that embody the vision of the Abu Dhabi Government in advancing community services through the use of AI and modern technologies."
The project team also introduced features like 'Medeem' journey, offering young people preparing for marriage financial and housing support along with premarital preparation programs. Additionally, dashboards for pet owners and domestic helper management were highlighted.
Al Dhaheri added: "The launch of such projects during the world’s largest technology-focused event, and alongside the UAE’s Year of Community, reflects a leadership role and vision of building cohesive and connected societies that keep pace with global technological developments and confidently moves toward a more sustainable future."
This initiative underscores Abu Dhabi's dedication to harnessing digital transformation for public service enhancement. By focusing on family empowerment as a cornerstone of social development, it aligns with Abu Dhabi's ongoing prosperity goals.
