Over 8 Million Self-Service HR Procedures Completed Via Bayanati, FAHR Reports

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) announced that federal employees have completed 8,284,000 self-service HR procedures through the "Bayanati" system since its inception in 2013. This milestone was reached by the end of the first half of this year.

Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, Director-General of FAHR, emphasised the importance of the self-service aspect of the system. She noted that it has significantly streamlined HR processes for federal employees and departments, allowing them to manage their HR needs independently and efficiently.

8M+ HR Procedures Done via Bayanati

Over the past 11 years, more than 8,284,000 procedures were completed through "Bayanati," with 436,000 recorded in just the first half of 2024. This achievement was facilitated by the new user experience and interface (UXUI) of "Bayanati" and the FAHR smart application.

The FAHR smart application, launched in 2014, has been regularly updated to incorporate cutting-edge technology. It has enabled approximately 1,033,000 self-service HR procedures and has been downloaded over 190,000 times. The app allows employees to manage their HR tasks from any location globally at any time.

Asem Al Awadhi, Director of the Human Resources Information System Department at FAHR, highlighted that the application provides a unified platform for completing HR tasks via mobile devices. This reduces the need for in-person visits to HR departments.

Widespread Adoption Across Ministries

Currently, 49 ministries and federal entities utilise the "Bayanati" system. Additionally, 18 other entities are linked to it. This widespread adoption underscores its effectiveness in managing HR processes across various government sectors.

FAHR continues to innovate with recent updates that include enhanced features for managing individual development plans and expanded leave requests. The application supports various services such as e-signatures for ministerial contracts, performance evaluations, and electronic labour cards.

These advancements are designed to simplify HR processes for federal employees further. By leveraging technology, FAHR aims to make HR management more accessible and efficient for all users involved.

This continuous improvement ensures that federal employees can handle their HR needs seamlessly and effectively through both "Bayanati" and the FAHR smart application.
