UAE's FAHR Unveils AI-Powered HR Assistant To Transform Federal Employee Services
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has introduced an AI-powered Human Resources Assistant. This initiative aligns with the UAE's vision to utilise artificial intelligence for enhancing government operations.
The system is designed to improve the federal HR ecosystem by offering high-quality services and seamless employee experiences, thereby fostering a more efficient work environment through innovative AI solutions.

The new HR Assistant will benefit over 50,000 federal government employees. Initially, it offers 108 services and automates about 80% of self-service HR procedures. It also responds instantly to 80% of inquiries related to HR legislation. This automation is expected to save around 170,000 working hours annually in technical and legal HR support.
The system employs AI Agents technology, an advanced platform capable of executing tasks, processing procedures, and answering queries on behalf of employees. It analyses data from the federal HR information system Bayanati and provides accurate responses through interactive written or voice-based interfaces in both Arabic and English without human intervention.
Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future and Chairwoman of FAHR, stated that this launch reflects the UAE leadership's commitment to using AI for transforming federal HR management. She emphasised that the government is dedicated to developing advanced technological models that enhance services and provide efficient, personalised experiences for employees.
Federal government employees can access the AI-powered HR Assistant anytime and anywhere via the Authority’s website www.fahr.gov.ae or its FAHR smart app. This accessibility ensures that employees have continuous support at their fingertips, enhancing their overall experience with HR services.
This initiative not only aims to streamline processes but also reinforces the UAE’s global leadership in leveraging artificial intelligence within government sectors. By integrating such advanced technologies, the UAE continues to set a benchmark in providing future-ready solutions that cater to evolving employee needs efficiently.
