FAHR And Emirates NBD Collaborate To Remove Salary Certificate Requirement For Federal Employees
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) and Emirates NBD have launched a new partnership that removes the requirement for federal employees to provide salary certificates for banking services. This initiative introduces a secure digital integration model, allowing salary information to be accessed directly through connected systems.
This collaboration aligns with global practices in digital integration, aiming for a paperless government model by eliminating paperwork and automating processes. Federal employees can now access banking services without physical documents, accelerating procedures and ensuring data security. The initiative plans to include more national banks, benefiting over 45,000 federal employees across 50 government entities.

Mohammed bin Taliah, Chief of Government Services in the UAE Government, highlighted the government's dedication to reducing bureaucracy. He stated, "We are working collaboratively with government entities to eliminate digital bureaucracy by designing initiatives that streamline procedures, simplify requirements, and accelerate services for federal employees. This contributes to creating a secure, efficient, and faster digital ecosystem."
Eman Abdulrazzaq from Emirates NBD expressed delight in partnering with FAHR. She said the bank is committed to enhancing operational capabilities and offering exclusive products to FAHR employees. As a leading national bank, Emirates NBD continues to innovate for a simplified banking experience.
Ibrahim Fikri of FAHR emphasised their focus on improving employee experiences by implementing UAE Government directives. He noted that this collaboration introduces a proactive prototype for support services in government, enhancing the digital experience and redefining service delivery by reducing processing times through digital partnerships.
Future Expansion Plans
The initiative is set to expand further by including additional national banks and service providers in later stages. This expansion aims to benefit over 45,000 federal employees across more than 50 government entities. The project seeks to create a seamless banking experience while maintaining secure data handling.
Fikri also mentioned that this partnership strengthens support services' role by focusing on automating processes without human intervention. It minimises service time and achieves zero-routine objectives through direct government digital integration.
The strategic partnership was formalised with key figures present, including Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi and Mohammed bin Taliah from the UAE Government. Representatives from Emirates NBD and Emirates Islamic were also involved in this significant development.
This collaboration marks an important step towards achieving zero bureaucracy in government operations. It enhances productivity levels while improving the quality of services provided to federal employees through streamlined processes and innovative solutions.
