EXPRO To Launch First 'Expenditure Efficiency' Forum In Riyadh This November

The Expenditure Efficiency and Projects Authority (EXPRO) is hosting its first Expenditure Efficiency Forum in Riyadh on November 11-12, 2024. The event is under the patronage of the Minister of Finance and EXPRO Chairman Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan. This forum will attract a diverse group of participants from both local and international government and private sectors.

EXPRO CEO Eng. Abdulrazzaq bin Subhi Al-Aujan stated that the forum will feature sessions where decision-makers and experts can exchange knowledge on optimizing expenditure. The discussions will focus on enhancing the quality of government projects, assets, facilities, and procurement processes. The aim is to foster communication between government entities and international bodies, emphasizing efficiency, quality, and sustainability in financial and administrative sectors.

A significant aspect of the forum is its emphasis on training, institutional excellence, and efficient expenditure in Saudi Arabia. It will also acknowledge the contributions of public entities. The event aims to showcase successful partnerships and highlight how expenditures can be made more efficient while demonstrating progress since the launch of Saudi Vision 2030.

One of the key highlights will be the "Innovation Challenge," engaging over 120 competitors to develop software for precise cost determination and allocation for government projects benchmarking.

Special meetings with dignitaries are scheduled, along with ceremonies honouring exceptional teams from public agencies for their expenditure efficiency. EXPRO aims to make government agencies' expenditure more efficient by improving public procurement operations' quality, developing policies, systems, methodologies, and strengthening national personnel's capabilities.
