Expo 2030 Riyadh's Registration Dossier Gains Final Approval At BIE General Assembly In Paris

The Bureau International Des Expositions (BIE) General Assembly in Paris has given its final approval to Expo 2030 Riyadh's Registration Dossier. This approval confirms Saudi Arabia as the official host for the upcoming Expo. During the assembly, the World Expo flag was handed over to Saudi Arabia's delegation, marking a significant milestone.

Eng. Ibrahim Al-Sultan, Minister of State and Acting CEO of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), led the Saudi delegation at this event. The delegation also included Fahad bin Mayouf Al-Ruwaily, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in France, among other officials. The Registration Dossier outlines Saudi Arabia’s vision for hosting an innovative and collaborative global event.

Eng. Ibrahim Al-Sultan expressed gratitude to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their support. He stated: "The approval of the Registration Dossier in record time highlights the Kingdom’s leadership on the global stage and underscores the world’s confidence in Saudi Arabia’s vision and capabilities." The Registration Dossier's approval allows Saudi Arabia to begin formal preparations for Expo 2030 Riyadh.
