AlUla Shines As A Global Tourist Hub With Its Vast Cultural Heritage

AlUla Governorate, situated in the northwest of Saudi Arabia, is a cultural hub attracting tourists eager to explore its rich history. The Hegra area is another notable site in AlUla. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Hegra features Nabatean tombs, various inscriptions, and archaeological excavation sites. These historical landmarks provide visitors with a deep dive into the region's past.

The Royal Commission for AlUla organises several festivals and cultural events annually. One prominent event is the Winter at Tantora Festival, which includes various activities such as traditional sports like horseback archery and tent pegging. The festival also features exploratory tours, art exhibitions, cultural displays, and the Ancient Kingdoms Festival.
