Xposure 2024 Experts Unveil How Virtual Production And XR Shape Filmmaking's Future
This weekend, the Xposure International Photography Festival hosted an engaging panel discussion titled "The Unreal Future of Film". The session brought together leading figures from the film industry to explore the evolving landscape of virtual production, Extended Reality (XR), and the innovative capabilities of the Unreal Engine. This advanced real-time 3D creation tool is redefining photoreal visuals and immersive experiences in storytelling and content creation.
The panel featured Olivier Geyhsen, a filmmaker and XR artist; Siraj Jhaveri, a director with over three decades of experience; Bartosz Jankowski, a producer and screenwriter specializing in Virtual Production technology; and Bora Batur, a production designer. Together, they provided insights into the transformative impact of virtual production on filmmaking.

Siraj Jhaveri initiated the discussion by highlighting the seamless integration of physical and digital worlds through virtual production.
