Expand North Star 2025 Welcomes New International Pavilions From The USA, Syria, Ecuador, And Chile

Expand North Star 2025, hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy and organised by Dubai World Trade Centre, is witnessing its most varied participation yet. For the first time, national pavilions from the United States, Syria, Ecuador, and Chile are part of this event. This inclusion highlights the event's growing global influence as a major platform for business and innovation.

The event is taking place at Dubai Harbour from 12th to 15th October 2025. It serves as a crucial platform for startups, investors, and venture capital networks to explore new markets and partnerships. This year’s edition includes participants from over 100 countries, reinforcing its status as a premier global meeting point.

New International Pavilions Join Expand North Star 2025

The newly participating countries are showcasing advanced technologies and innovative products. This provides fresh insights and opportunities for collaboration across the Middle East and North Africa region. The event further strengthens Dubai’s role as a central hub for international companies, technologies, and investments.

Hassan Daaboul, a board member of the U.S.-Syria Business Council, mentioned their aim to connect Syrian talent with international investors. He said this would foster job creation and encourage global partnerships. Syria's participation marks its debut at the event.

Jose Saenz from Ecuador-based MobilVendor emphasised the event's value in securing investment opportunities. He stated it helps attract partners to support growth in Latin America and new markets like Dubai. This highlights the event's role in facilitating business expansion.

Wen Sang, Co-Founder of Genspark in California, praised UAE’s AI adoption policies. He noted that his company is considering opening a Dubai office to expand regionally. Genspark is valued at US$530 million, reflecting significant interest in regional growth.

Strategic Goals and Future Growth

Sebastian Wilson from Chilean company Ok to Shop shared his goal of connecting with distributors in the UAE. He said, "This is my first time in the UAE, and my goal is to connect with distributors and customers for our service." His focus is on enhancing supermarket online platforms using their technology.

As one of the largest startup events globally, Expand North Star plays a vital role in Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy’s strategy. It aims to position Dubai as a global hub for technology and entrepreneurship while driving sustainable growth in the emirate.

This year's diverse participation underscores Expand North Star's significance as a platform for innovation, investment, and collaboration on an international scale.
