Evolve Future Mobility Show Concludes Its Inaugural Edition With Over 5,000 Attendees
The Evolve Future Mobility Show (EFMS 2025) recently concluded at Expo Centre Sharjah, marking a significant event in the Middle East for electric and new energy vehicles. Held from 15th to 18th October, it attracted over 5,000 visitors, including industry leaders and EV enthusiasts. Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with MIE Events, the exhibition was supported by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The show emphasised the UAE's commitment to sustainable mobility through government initiatives aimed at boosting electric vehicle (EV) adoption. This aligns with the National Electric Vehicles Policy, which seeks to have EVs make up 50% of all vehicles by 2050. The event highlighted efforts towards clean energy transition and achieving Net Zero targets.

EFMS 2025 showcased cutting-edge technologies in electric and hybrid vehicles. Exhibitors presented sustainable mobility infrastructure elements like EV charging stations and smart systems. A standout feature was the A2RL Autonomous Formula 1 Car, a self-driving sports car reaching speeds over 340 km/h using AI-driven systems.
Visitors experienced an interactive Formula 1 simulator, officially licensed by AMG and FIA-certified. This simulator mirrored a real cockpit's structure and dynamics, offering an immersive high-speed race car control experience. Such innovations underscored the show's focus on future smart mobility.
Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, noted that EFMS 2025 exceeded expectations with its strong turnout. He stated, "This strong turnout highlights the exhibition’s regional and global significance and demonstrates Sharjah’s broader vision of evolving from a technology user to an active contributor in the advancement of electric mobility industries."
Strategic Platform for Industry Experts
The event provided a strategic platform for industry experts to exchange knowledge and form impactful partnerships focused on sustainable mobility's future. An international summit featured over 100 speakers discussing key themes shaping electric vehicle industry growth through 20 panel discussions.
EFMS 2025 spanned ten sectors covering the entire electric vehicle value chain. These included electric passenger cars, light and heavy-duty vehicles, bicycles, hydrogen-powered vehicles, and EV charging infrastructure. The show occurred amid increasing global EV adoption and efforts to promote clean energy regionally.
Current projections indicate that the global EV market could reach USD 1.39 trillion by 2029. This underscores the importance of events like EFMS in driving innovation and collaboration within the industry as it moves towards a more sustainable future.
