European Arab Medical Congress 2024 Commences In Abu Dhabi To Enhance Global Healthcare Collaboration
The European Arab Medical Congress (EAMC) has commenced in Abu Dhabi, marking a crucial step in international medical cooperation. Organised by the Emirates Scholar Center for Research & Studies, a part of the Emirates Science and Research Foundation, the event is held in partnership with the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO) and collaborates with the Arab Medical Union in Europe and the European Medical Association. The Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau supports this significant gathering.
Running from 11th to 13th December at the ZHO headquarters, the congress is an important global forum. It brings together experts in medicine, research, and technology from both the UAE and Europe. The opening session was attended by notable figures such as Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Consultative Council; Dr. Fayza AlYafei from the Abu Dhabi Department of Health; and Lorenzo Fanara, Italy's Ambassador to the UAE.

This year's congress highlights advancements in medical research, including artificial intelligence applications and global healthcare best practices. With over 500 medical professionals participating, more than 60 expert speakers, and 20 leading institutions involved, EAMC offers a unique platform for exploring healthcare's future. It promotes innovation and facilitates expertise exchange among attendees.

Abdullah Al Humaidan of ZHO remarked on hosting this prestigious event at their organisation's headquarters. He highlighted their commitment to enhancing partnerships locally and internationally while improving infrastructure and knowledge in medicine and social care.

Dr. Fawaz Habbal underscored scientific research's role as essential for sustainable progress.
