This shift has improved execution efficiency and operational accuracy.

EtihadWE Launches Initiatives for Zero Bureaucracy

To enhance customer experience, EtihadWE launched several digital projects. These include smart meters for consumption tracking, leak detection, and service restoration after payment. They also introduced flexible electronic payment options like Apple Pay and Tabby, along with a real-time emergency tracking system through their smart app.

The company developed an AI-powered technical support system available in multiple languages. An online appointment booking system was also introduced to reduce unscheduled visits and improve service efficiency. Agreements were made with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, local municipalities, and TAS’HEEL offices to ease document submission processes.

Joint coordination with entities like Civil Defence and Free Zones has helped acquire necessary approvals for commercial and infrastructure projects faster. This collaboration accelerates vital development implementations across various sectors.

In line with sustainability goals, EtihadWE launched the "Early Connection Initiative" to support the agricultural sector in the Northern Emirates. They also aim to enhance water and electricity distribution efficiency as part of their commitment to Sustainable Development Goals.

Commitment to Continuous Improvement

Al Ali confirmed EtihadWE's dedication to continuous improvement through strategic partnerships, advanced technologies, and ongoing performance evaluations. These efforts reinforce EtihadWE’s role as a significant contributor to developing the UAE’s essential utilities sector.
