ECI Participates in Future Food Forum 2024

"Our participation in the Future Food Forum 2024 reflects ECI's commitment to support the F&B sector, one of the leading sectors for which ECI offers credit support. Over 20 businesses from these industries have benefitted from our credit support services as of 2024. ECI’s total credit coverage for the third quarter of this year was approximately AED8 billion, while total amount of insured returns was AED2.6 billion," she added.

This year's forum drew over 750 senior executives and more than 250 global companies. Additionally, more than 60 speakers from over 70 countries shared insights on sector development. The themes 'Future Food,' 'Future Government,' and 'Future Consumer' highlighted how industry futures are linked to consumer behaviour dynamics, government policies, and commodity fundamentals.

Al Mazroui noted that embracing these principles opens new opportunities globally while fostering a sustainable food ecosystem regionally. The event underscored ECI's dedication to supporting the F&B sector through credit services. This support has benefitted over 20 businesses in 2024 alone.

The forum provided a platform for discussing innovative approaches to enhance collaboration between public and private entities. It also focused on improving sustainability practices within the food industry. These discussions are crucial for developing a resilient food system capable of adapting to future challenges.

The event's success demonstrates the importance of such gatherings in shaping the future of the food and beverage industry in the Middle East. By bringing together diverse stakeholders, it fosters dialogue that can lead to meaningful advancements in sustainability and innovation across the sector.
