Etihad Airways And Mumbai City FC Announce Groundbreaking Partnership
Etihad Airways has entered into a multi-year agreement to become the Official Front of Shirt Sponsor for Mumbai City FC, starting from the 2024-25 season. This collaboration highlights Etihad's dedication to the Indian market and Mumbai City's status as a leading professional sports team in India, having secured two Indian Super League titles and two Indian Super League Cups.
The partnership aligns with Etihad's celebration of 20 years of service to India. The airline's logo will be prominently displayed on the match shirts and training kits of Mumbai City FC’s first and youth teams from the 2024-25 season. This deal is notable for its duration, setting a record in Indian football.

This collaboration builds on the longstanding relationship between the home countries of both organisations, emphasising shared values like teamwork and excellence. Both Etihad and Mumbai City FC aim to unite people and inspire ambition through their partnership.

Etihad will mark its 20th anniversary of flying to India this month. Starting from 1st September, Etihad’s A380 will operate between Mumbai and Abu Dhabi for four months, showcasing its commitment to growth in India. Passengers will have an opportunity to experience this iconic aircraft on this popular route.
Expanding Connectivity
The airline currently operates flights to 11 destinations across India, including four daily flights to Mumbai. These services offer convenient connections from Abu Dhabi onwards. In total, Etihad runs 175 flights per week between Abu Dhabi and various locations in India.
Neves added: "Through our partnership with Mumbai City FC, we hope to bring joy to the football-loving community across Mumbai."
