Erth Abu Dhabi Celebrates Successful Conclusion Of Zayed Sports Tournament For Juniors 2025

Erth Abu Dhabi has successfully wrapped up the Zayed Sports Tournament for Juniors 2025. This event was organised in partnership with the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. The tournament honoured the legacy of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who believed in sports as a means to inspire future generations and instil values like discipline, teamwork, and excellence.

The tournament this year saw a remarkable participation of young athletes, especially from UAE Nationals. This reflects the UAE's dedication to developing youth talent and promoting sportsmanship. The event showcased outstanding youth talent across various sports, attracting participants from top clubs and academies in the region and beyond.

Zayed Sports Tournament for Juniors Concluded

The football tournaments included Under-10 and Under-12 teams from clubs like Al Wahda FC, Wolves Academy, Regional Sports, Real Madrid Academy, among others. In the Under-10 category, Al Wahda FC emerged victorious, securing the gold medal. Wolves Academy took second place while First Star Academy finished third.

In the Under-12 category, Al Wahda FC continued their winning streak by claiming first place again. Regional Sports secured second place, followed by Real Madrid Academy in third position. These results highlight Al Wahda FC's dominance across different age groups.

The Jiu-Jitsu competitions featured impressive performances from teams such as The Force for Sports, Etizan Fitness, Delariva Abu Dhabi & Al Raha, UAE Jiu-Jitsu Club, UAE JJ, and Cobra RAK. These teams stood out for their exceptional skills throughout the tournament.

Chess also attracted significant interest with 153 participants competing fiercely. Gymnastics saw 111 athletes from six countries—UAE, Latvia, Kenya, Russia, Lebanon, and Bahrain—showcasing their talents. Additionally, swimming competitions drew 122 competitors further emphasising the depth of young sporting talent present at this event.

This year's tournament highlighted an increase in participation across all sports categories. It underscored the commitment to nurturing young athletes' potential while fostering a culture of sportsmanship within the UAE.
