Saudi Arabia's Environment Minister Launches Activities For Environment Week 2025
Abdulrahman Alfadley, the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, recently opened the 2025 Environment Week activities and exhibition. This event, scheduled from April 20 to 26, was attended by Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Envoy, along with other prominent figures from both public and private sectors. The inauguration included the launch of a national environmental performance index and various visual presentations.
The exhibition accompanying the event is diverse, featuring sections on vegetation cover and desertification control. It also covers wildlife and marine biodiversity, waste management, pollution control, meteorology, and environmental protection. These sections aim to educate visitors on crucial environmental issues.
