Minister Of Commerce Majid Al-Kassabi Crowns Winners Of Entrepreneurship World Cup At Biban Forum 2025

Majid Al-Kassabi, the Minister of Commerce and Chairman of Monsha’at, awarded the winners of the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) final round. The event was held during the Biban Forum 2025, attended by several dignitaries including Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Husseini, Governor of Monsha’at, and Dr. Badr Al-Badr, CEO of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk).

The EWC is a major global competition for entrepreneurs, offering total prizes worth $1.5 million. It began with one hundred startups from over forty-seven countries competing in various categories. This platform provides essential tools and resources to help entrepreneurs develop their ideas and succeed.

In the Early Stage category, Swijin AG secured first place, earning a cash prize of $250,000. MabLab followed in second place with a $200,000 reward. SARsatX from Saudi Arabia claimed third place with $150,000. Aruna Revolution took fourth place with $100,000, while DATAYOO finished fifth with $50,000.

Brelyon emerged victorious in the Growth Stage category, receiving $175,000. DeafTawk came in second with a prize of $100,000. In the Idea Stage category, Tasmanion won first place with a $50,000 prize. KLORA ranked second and received $25,000.

Space Tech Track Awards

The Space Tech track saw four companies each winning $100,000 awards. Stitch3D excelled in Space Tech in Mining; SpaceMap was recognised for Public Safety; Sytemap shone in Smart Construction; eAgro stood out in Crowd Management.

The EWC competitions are crucial for supporting small and medium enterprises through specialised training programs. They also offer opportunities to connect with a global network of mentors during an intensive training camp.

This year’s finals highlighted innovative startups across multiple sectors. The event underscored its role as a significant platform for nurturing entrepreneurial talent worldwide.
