Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz Bin Salman Discusses Role Of Changemakers In Saudi Arabia's Transformation

At the fourth annual Saudi Media Forum, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy, underscored the importance of changemakers. He noted that influencers need these individuals to create meaningful impacts. The changes initiated by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have significantly shaped the Kingdom's influence globally. "The concept of changemakers in the Kingdom has evolved into a more comprehensive concept," he stated during a discussion moderated by Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary.

The minister highlighted how Vision 2030 initiatives have made media content accessible to influencers, fostering a sentiment that "the Kingdom welcomes the world." Saudi Arabia is engaging globally through major programs and events like Expo 2030 and the 2034 FIFA World Cup. These initiatives open doors for participation in tourism, economy, media, trade, and investment sectors.

Prince Abdulaziz shared his experiences with media during challenging times, such as the Aramco facility attacks. Despite difficult circumstances, he addressed the media while dealing with psychological and economic impacts. He remains committed to sharing these experiences with Ministry of Energy officials to help them navigate similar challenges.

The minister discussed his recent engagements, emphasizing that some events required his presence to enhance their outcomes. He expressed particular fondness for conferences organized by the Misk Foundation due to their educational nature. His previous role as a lecturer at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals adds depth to his involvement in such events.

During his participation in the Future Minerals Forum, Prince Abdulaziz highlighted the evolving concept of energy security. This now includes not only oil and petroleum exports but also natural resources essential for renewable energy. He stressed that messages conveyed at such events hold significant impact.
