Emirati Women's Forum Celebrates UAE's Commitment To Advancing Women's Empowerment
The Dubai Women Establishment recently hosted the Emirati Women’s Forum at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre. This event marked the 10th Emirati Women’s Day and was held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It gathered senior officials, experts, and nearly 700 leaders from various sectors to celebrate women's empowerment in the UAE.
H.H. Sheikha Manal expressed gratitude to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for their steadfast support of women’s advancement. She emphasised that their vision has propelled Emirati women to excel both nationally and internationally across diverse fields.
The forum featured ten panel discussions that highlighted the UAE's achievements in promoting women's empowerment. These sessions celebrated the successes of Emirati women in various domains, showcasing their crucial role in shaping the nation's progress. The event also included activities reflecting leadership's ongoing commitment to supporting women.
H.H. Sheikha Manal noted that since its inception, the nation has prioritised providing opportunities for women in leadership roles and contributions in science, knowledge, humanitarian, and social fields. She highlighted that this vision is now bearing fruit across sectors such as space, government, economy, culture, education, and arts.
Sheikha Manal praised H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak for her unwavering support of Emirati women across family, social, educational, and professional spheres. Known as the Mother of the Nation, H.H. Sheikha Fatima has been a leading advocate for women's empowerment and leadership through her historic efforts.
The strong participation in the forum underscores the government's dedication to supporting women and highlights their significant role in national development. The event also fosters collaboration between government and private entities to enhance women's contributions across various sectors.
