Emirati Women As The Heartbeat Of Society And Pillars Of Prosperity, Says Sheikha Fatima

H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, known as "The Mother of the Nation," emphasised the crucial role of Emirati women in UAE society. She stated that they are integral to the nation's unity and sustainable progress. The celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, themed "Hand in Hand, We Celebrate 50 Years," honours their inspiring journey and significant contributions to the nation’s development.

Sheikha Fatima highlighted that empowering Emirati women is a pioneering model for development and an ongoing national success story. Their achievements result from strategic vision and structured policies, driven by the belief that women's empowerment fosters sustainable development and creates a productive, cohesive society globally.

The National Policy for Empowerment of Emirati Women 2023–2031 was launched under the theme "We Collaborate for Tomorrow." This policy aims to ensure equitable participation of women across all sectors, enhancing their quality of life. It provides a framework for decision-makers in government, private sectors, and civil society to promote women's empowerment and leadership.

Sheikha Fatima noted that supporting women has always been a core approach in the UAE. The nation is advancing with comprehensive strategies to empower women, reflecting its commitment to fostering social cohesion and coexistence. This aligns with the broader goals of the "Year of Community" initiative.
