Her encyclopedic book is a vital national achievement and research reference that enhances understanding of nature. This work stands as a testament to her commitment to photography and environmental documentation.

It benefits photographers, researchers, readers, and enthusiasts interested in visual arts. Salma's book ‘Common Birds and Their Nests in the United Arab Emirates’ is an innovative artistic project and valuable scientific resource praised by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

HIPA aims to support national talent while inspiring others to follow their example. Founded by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, it seeks to elevate UAE's creative visual artists globally. Salma Al Suwaidi embodies this mission through her achievements in photography.

Salma Al Suwaidi shared her thoughts on receiving the award: "Winning any prize is a recognition of a photographer’s work, but winning the special awards has a greater and higher moral value than any other. HIPA’s Photography Content Creator Award not only honours photographic skill and visual content but also seeks the added value that photographers contribute."

Salma appreciated HIPA's thorough research on her work. She advised fellow photographers to pursue their passion wholeheartedly while incorporating scientific or documentary elements for true value. Her advice encourages photographers to explore beyond visual appeal for deeper impact.

The upcoming ceremony will celebrate all winners at Dubai's Museum of the Future on November 12, 2024. This event will highlight their contributions to photography under HIPA's theme of 'Sustainability'.
