Emirati Media Forum To Celebrate Its 10th Edition In Dubai On 28th October
The Dubai Press Club (DPC) will host the 10th Emirati Media Forum (EMF) on 28th October at the Museum of the Future in Dubai. This event, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to unite UAE media leaders, editors, writers, and influencers. The forum has been pivotal in shaping discussions about the UAE's media landscape since its inception.
Maryam Al Mulla, Director of the Dubai Press Club, highlighted the forum's role over the past decade in uniting media professionals to discuss progress and challenges. She stated that as the UAE experiences significant growth amid global changes, media must evolve beyond traditional reporting to actively shape the future. "Our goal is to build a media sector that drives positive change," she said.

This year's forum will explore various topics such as regional and global impacts on UAE media, cultural diversity, and combating misinformation. Discussions will also focus on how digital transformation and modern technologies are being embraced by the UAE's media sector to create impactful content. The event aims to empower youth and content creators to showcase UAE achievements globally.
Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of DPC, emphasised the forum's importance as a national platform for addressing key issues in Emirati media. She remarked on its role in accelerating development: "Today, we need a media sector that is agile, creative and aware of rapid transformations."
Since 2013, the Emirati Media Forum has significantly contributed to strengthening dialogue within the UAE’s media sector. It has promoted collaboration and professional standards while reinforcing leadership at regional and global levels. The upcoming edition will continue this legacy by facilitating discussions among experts about future industry directions.
Al Marri added that over ten years, the forum has captured both ambitions and challenges faced by the media sector. As it celebrates its tenth edition, it looks forward to fostering practical ideas and future-focused perspectives. "The Emirati Media Forum has become a key pillar of the UAE’s media landscape," she noted.
