Emirati Conference On Medical Education 2025 Commences In Abu Dhabi With Over 600 Participants

The Emirati Conference on Medical Education 2025 commenced in Abu Dhabi, organised by the National Institute for Health Specialties with support from healthcare training authorities. This event gathers over 600 participants from the healthcare sector. Senior officials from national healthcare organisations and representatives from international accreditation bodies attended the opening ceremony.

The conference serves as a scientific platform to discuss advancements in medical education. It facilitates knowledge exchange among professionals and supports research and innovation in this crucial field. The agenda includes four main sessions and panel discussions, featuring 20 prominent speakers who present key developments in medical education.

Emirati Medical Education Conference Begins in Abu Dhabi

Distinguished members of specialised committees, programme directors, faculty members, trainees, and leaders from healthcare institutions are participating. Additionally, 10 specialised workshops aim to enhance skills and promote best practices in specialty training and assessment.

Participants can explore 43 research papers through oral presentations and scientific posters. These presentations allow attendees to delve into the latest studies and practices within the healthcare sector. Discussions also cover artificial intelligence's role in medical education, focusing on technological applications in training, assessment, and clinical skill enhancement.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Houqani, Secretary-General of the National Institute for Health Specialties, highlighted that the conference reflects their commitment to advancing medical education by updating curricula and improving assessment systems. He emphasised strengthening regional and international partnerships to enhance national competencies across various medical specialties.
