Emirates Cabin Crew Village At Dubai Investments Park To House Up To 12,000 Crew

Emirates Airline has agreed a major land deal at Dubai Investments Park for a purpose-built Cabin Crew Village, creating a large residential hub that is planned to house up to 12,000 cabin crew members under a long-term lease arrangement.

The multi-billion-dirham project is designed as a mixed-use neighbourhood, combining high-rise housing with services and amenities. Emirates aims to provide a consolidated base that supports daily life, work schedules and long-term growth plans linked to Al Maktoum International.

The Cabin Crew Village is planned to include 20 modern residential towers, each with 19 floors. The buildings will contain a range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, with layouts and shared areas shaped around crew comfort, privacy and convenience.

Plans outline a walkable community with essential retail, leisure facilities and shared social spaces. Emirates expects these features to strengthen links among residents while also reducing travel time to core services for crew who operate demanding shift patterns.

Ali Mubarak Al Soori, Emirates’ Chief Procurement & Facilities Officer said: "Our cabin crew are central to the experience Emirates delivers to customers. This investment is part of our broader commitment to supporting their wellbeing by offering living spaces designed around their needs and lifestyles. The Cabin Crew Village will provide everything our crew need within a single, thoughtfully planned development, with convenient access to everyday essentials, leisure facilities and communal spaces that foster a strong sense of community. The Cabin Crew Village also represents a strategic investment in Emirates’ future, supporting our transition plans to Al Maktoum International and continued growth in the years ahead."

Project delivery is scheduled in stages. Groundbreaking is planned for the second quarter of 2026, and Emirates currently expects the first phase to be finished in 2029, aligning with future operational shifts within Dubai’s wider aviation infrastructure.
