Arab Media Forum Honours WAM Director With Excellence Award
The 19th Arab Media Forum recently celebrated the achievements of key figures in the Arab media landscape, with Mohamed Jalal Alrayssi, the Director General of the Emirates News Agency (WAM), receiving the "Excellence Award" at the prestigious Kuwait Creativity Award. This accolade was in recognition of Alrayssi's pivotal role in enhancing WAM's news content, solidifying its status as a premier official platform and reliable source for disseminating the UAE's accomplishments globally. The award ceremony took place under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait.
During the event, held at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait, Nasser Al-Mohisni, Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information, and Madi Abdullah Al-Khamis, Secretary-General of the Arab Media Forum, acknowledged the contributions of distinguished Arab media personalities.
