Emirates Does It Again! The Dubai Airline Crowned Best In The World
Emirates has been honoured with the "Best Airline in the World" title at the ULTRAs 2024 Awards. This recognition came from thousands of global travellers who praised the airline for its outstanding products, innovative services, and excellent value-for-money experiences. Emirates' commitment to providing superior travel experiences has also earned it over 20 awards this year, including "World Best Airline" by Telegraph Travel and "Best Airline" by The Times and Sunday Times Travel Awards.
The ULTRAs are highly esteemed awards within the travel industry. They acknowledge leaders across various categories, with winners chosen based on votes from a worldwide network of active and affluent travellers. Emirates' recent accolade further solidifies its reputation as a leader in international air travel.

At a ceremony held last week at Kensington Palace in London, Thierry Aucoc, Emirates Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations in Europe and the Americas, along with Jabr Al-Azeeby, Emirates Divisional Vice President in the UK, accepted the award. The event was attended by prominent figures from the travel industry and other distinguished guests.
Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, expressed his delight at receiving this prestigious award. He stated, "We’re delighted to be recognised as 'Best Airline in the World’ by the prestigious ULTRAs. Our investments in product and services, in our people, training and technology, all aim to elevate the travel experience at every step of the journey so our customers truly 'fly better’, and we’ll always work hard to raise the bar for them."

Emirates is undertaking a multi-billion dollar refurbishment programme that will see over 200 aircraft receive fully refreshed interiors. This initiative aims to enhance the Emirates experience even further. Sir Tim Clark added his gratitude towards loyal customers and emphasised their commitment to advancing international air travel standards.
The awards also named Dubai International Airport as one of the runners-up to Singapore Changi Airport in the best airport in the world category.
The airline's dedication to improving its offerings is evident through these significant investments. By focusing on product enhancements and service excellence, Emirates continues to set high standards in global aviation.
