Emirates Islamic Donates AED 5 Million To Support Fathers' Endowment Campaign For Healthcare

Emirates Islamic Bank has pledged AED5 million to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign. This initiative, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to honour fathers in the UAE by creating a sustainable fund for healthcare and treatment for those in need. The campaign is part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) and encourages donations in honour of fathers.

The campaign not only celebrates fathers but also promotes values such as compassion and solidarity. It strengthens the UAE's reputation as a leader in charitable work and reinforces the concept of charitable endowments. The initiative allows individuals to contribute in their father's name, fostering a sense of community and support for humanitarian efforts.

Farid Al Mulla, CEO of Emirates Islamic, highlighted the significance of this initiative. He stated, "The Fathers' Endowment campaign represents the UAE's commitment to global humanitarian and charitable efforts. By establishing a sustainable endowment to help alleviate the suffering of patients worldwide, the campaign provides hope and access to essential needs, particularly sustainable healthcare."

Al Mulla further emphasised that these campaigns showcase the UAE's leadership in global philanthropy. They aim to provide healthcare to those most in need and empower vulnerable communities to live with dignity. The campaign continues to seek contributions from both institutions and individuals.

Donations can be made through various channels. These include the campaign’s website (Fathersfund.ae) and a dedicated call centre at 800 4999. Contributions can also be made via bank transfers in UAE dirhams to Emirates Islamic Bank using IBAN: AE020340003518492868201.

For those preferring SMS donations, sending "Father" to specific numbers allows Etisalat by e& and du users to donate amounts ranging from AED10 to AED500. Additionally, platforms like DubaiNow app under the "Donations" tab and Jood (Jood.ae) offer more options for contributing.

The Fathers’ Endowment campaign continues its mission by welcoming donations through these accessible channels. This ensures that everyone can participate in supporting this noble cause aimed at providing essential healthcare services globally.
