Emirates Health Services Streamlines Patient Care With Enhanced Telemedicine
Emirates Health Services (EHS) is advancing its mission to implement the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme and enhance customer experience by improving specialised telemedicine services. This service now supports over 2,200 patients annually, including those with diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and other conditions.
EHS has simplified procedures and sped up telemedicine services, reducing more than 4,400 annual visits to service centres. Additionally, over 44,000 minutes are saved yearly, and the service delivery time has decreased from 30 minutes to 20 minutes.

Dr. Abdulaziz Al Zarooni, Acting Executive Director of the Financial and Support Services Sector at EHS, stated that EHS has made significant progress in eliminating bureaucracy by continuously improving telemedicine services. He emphasised that these achievements align with the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme and enhance flexible health services that meet customers’ expectations.
Al Zarooni reaffirmed EHS’s dedication to continuing its innovative approach across various health service domains to achieve national goals. He added that the outcomes highlight EHS's status as a leading federal service entity adopting procedural systems aligned with the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme.
