Emirates Group Renews Airbus Leadership Programme To Empower UAE Nationals For Future Roles

The Emirates Group has renewed its partnership with Airbus Beyond, extending the Leadership Programme for Emirati employees for another three years. This agreement was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Amira Al Falasi, Emirates Group’s Senior Vice President of Training & Development, and Adam McGonigal, CEO of Airbus Beyond.

Present at the signing were Oliver Grohmann, Executive Vice President of Human Resources at Emirates Group; Ahmed Safa, Head of Engineering and MRO at Emirates; and Philippe Fontes, Human Resources Director at Airbus Africa and Middle-East. This collaboration aims to enhance the skills of Emirati talent through tailored training modules.

The programme includes two modules that blend theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Each module spans five days. The first module is held in Toulouse, focusing on self-awareness and emotional intelligence to boost confidence. The second module takes place in Singapore and involves real-world business simulations to improve problem-solving abilities.

Since its inception, over 45 UAE Nationals have completed the programme in three different cohorts. It is designed to develop essential leadership skills needed in today’s fast-paced environment by combining industry insights with leadership training.

The Emirates Group offers various programmes aimed at nurturing current and future leaders among its Emirati workforce. These initiatives ensure that UAE Nationals are well-prepared to support the company’s strategic goals and future vision.

This renewed partnership with Airbus Beyond underscores the commitment to providing Emiratis with experiences, exposure, and educational opportunities that prepare them for future roles within the organisation.
