Emirates Group Collaborates With Moro Hub For Co-Location At World's Largest Solar-Powered Data Centre
The Emirates Group has partnered with Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, to utilise co-location services at the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. This solar-powered data centre is recognised by Guinness World Records as the largest of its kind globally. The collaboration marks a significant transition for the Emirates Group's technology infrastructure as it prepares for future growth.
Starting mid-2026, the Emirates Group plans to move its data centre operations to Moro Hub. This shift will involve comprehensive co-location services such as rack space, power, cooling, and equipment supply. By doing so, the Group will switch to clean energy, utilising 3,000 megawatts annually to power its data centre.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), witnessed the agreement signing between Michael Doersam of the Emirates Group and Eng. Marwan Bin Haidar of Digital DEWA. Al Tayer stated, "Guided by the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum...we continue to position Dubai as a global leader in sustainable digital innovation...We are proud to strengthen the Group's sustainability journey with this strategic move..."
