Emirates And Flynas Broaden Interline Agreement For Enhanced Saudi Travel Options

Emirates and flynas have recently enhanced their collaboration by signing an expanded two-way interline partnership. This agreement, finalized on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), aims to broaden travel options for flynas customers through Dubai. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was inked by Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, and Bander Almohanna, Group CEO and Managing Director of flynas. The ceremony was graced by the presence of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, and flynas Chairman Ayed Al Jeaid, alongside other senior representatives from both airlines.

Currently, the interline agreement between Emirates and flynas enhances connectivity for Emirates’ customers via Riyadh, Jeddah, Medinah, and Dammam to over 15 domestic destinations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This arrangement simplifies travel with benefits such as single ticket itineraries and baggage transfers. The expansion into a bilateral agreement allows flynas customers to access a curated selection of Emirates' destinations across the Far East, West Asia & Indian Ocean, and Europe via Dubai.

Expanded Emirates-flynas Saudi Partnership

Bander Almohanna commented on the expansion, expressing satisfaction in providing flynas customers with more travel choices through Emirates' extensive network. He highlighted that once activated, the expanded interline partnership would enable bookings through the flynas website, online travel agencies, and local travel agents.

Adnan Kazim shared his enthusiasm about the agreement's expansion, emphasizing the enhanced connectivity it offers across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He noted that linking the networks underscores a commitment to offering more destination choices to travelers in Saudi Arabia. Kazim also mentioned looking forward to further opportunities to expand the partnership scope in the future.

This collaboration marks a significant step in enhancing travel flexibility and options for passengers of both airlines, reflecting a strong commitment to improving air travel connectivity between Saudi Arabia and the rest of the world.
