Emirates Environmental Group Convenes 3rd Panel To Advance Environmental Sustainability Goals
Several experts participating in the third panel discussion of the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) for 2024 emphasised the necessity of economic and societal stability to ensure sustainable development in the environment and climate. The panel discussion, organised in collaboration with the Arabia CSR Network, EmiratesGBC, Clean Energy Business Council, and Swiss Business Council, aimed to harness the expertise of key industry leaders.
Habiba Al Mar’ashi, Co-founder and Chairperson of EEG, stated that this panel would help focus on how economic and societal instability affect environmental stability. The panel featured key subject-matter experts who shared insights and perspectives, including Hanan Khalifa Al Thuwaini from the Ministry of Economy, Layth Dwairi of Tathmeer Agro Tech, Dina Storey of Optimum Green Ventures, and Dr. Salam Sharif from Dubai Chambers for Recycling Business Group.
