Emirates Charitable Association Executes 1,451 Humanitarian Projects In Ras Al Khaimah During H1 2025
The Emirates Charitable Association in Ras Al Khaimah completed 1,451 charitable projects in the first half of 2025. These initiatives took place both within the UAE and internationally. The projects included building 139 mosques, drilling 319 wells, installing 893 water pumps, constructing 21 classrooms, and developing seven orphanages. Additionally, they established four community complexes, three medical clinics, five homes for underprivileged families, and completed 60 mosque annexes.
During Ramadan, the Association launched a significant humanitarian campaign. They provided 73,327 Iftar meals to fasting individuals in and outside the UAE. Additionally, they distributed 1,500 Ramadan food baskets to needy families. The campaign also included 4,832 Zakat Al-Fitr contributions using a discreet system that preserved beneficiaries' dignity while ensuring aid reached those most in need.

In their Eid Al-Adha campaign, the Association carried out sacrifices of 1,044 animals abroad and sponsored 135 proxy Hajj pilgrimages (Hajj Badal). These efforts brought joy and relief to thousands of families while upholding spiritual traditions. The Association also provided sponsorships for various groups including orphans and people of determination.
The Association supported 487 orphans, 16 students, four needy families, seven people of determination, two elderly individuals, and one Holy Quran teacher. Seasonal programmes benefited 1,686 orphans with Eid clothing, Ramadan Ration, home appliances, and tuition assistance. Overall, direct aid was given to 11,299 families in different forms.
Abdullah Saeed Al Tunaiji stated: "Charitable work is an investment in the future. Every mosque built, every orphan sponsored, and every fasting person fed lays the foundation for a stronger, more compassionate society."
