Emirates Unveils First Retrofitted Boeing 777 On Geneva Route

The first Emirates Boeing 777, featuring a comprehensive cabin refresh, has entered service. This aircraft, set to fly to Geneva as EK 83, underwent a complete overhaul in just 37 days. It is now operational four days ahead of its planned schedule.

Emirates  New-look Boeing 777

Emirates shared a timelapse video showcasing the transformation process. The footage revealed how their experienced in-house engineering team gutted and refurbished the first Emirates 777 cabins.

The refurbishment of the first B777 required 37 days and 18,000 manhours. Teams worked continuously in a systematic sequence from removing old interiors to reinstalling and testing new seats and other components.

This revamp highlights Emirates' dedication to providing top-tier travel experiences. The new business-class cabin offers enhanced privacy and exclusivity. Additionally, the Premium Economy cabin adds modern sophistication and increased comfort.

With more Boeing 777s and A380s set for similar upgrades, passengers can expect consistent high-quality experiences across these aircraft types.
