7th Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup Show Celebrates Success In Brazil
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Helvetia Riding Centre in Indaiatuba, near São Paulo, Brazil, hosted the 7th Show of the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup (EAHGC) for the 2024 season. This event marked the first EAHGC show held in South America and was warmly received by owners, breeders, and Arabian horse enthusiasts.
The Junior Fillies Championship saw Rica Rica Johnny from Boituva Stud clinch the gold medal. Aria Dhalia from Santa Marta Stud - Jaguariuna secured the silver medal, while Robin STC from Aratinga Stud - Araras took home the bronze medal. The competition was intense as some of the best horses competed for different studs around São Paulo.

In the Senior Mares Championship, Artemis Heo from El Olimpo Stud - Uruguai emerged victorious with a gold medal. Queen Elsa Fwm from Lone Star Stud - Silvianopolis won the silver medal, and Hanna 7F from El Sevillano Stud - Atibaia earned the bronze medal. The event highlighted the strong presence of Arabian horses in this region.
The Senior Stallions Championship concluded with Ragnary Gv from Viana Arabian Horse Stud - Artur Nogueira winning the gold medal. Virtus Hec secured a silver medal for Estancia California Stud - Tatui, marking their second win of the night. The event showcased top-tier competition among Arabian horses.
Junior Colts Championship
The Junior Colts Championship featured a fierce contest where Patrick Rec from Brown River Stud – Sao Jose Rio Pardo won gold. Destiny Hec from Estancia California Stud – Tatui claimed silver, while Ibn Image Wn from Piracuama Stud – Cacapava took bronze. The championship was a highlight for many attendees.
Abdullah Shaheen, Consul-General of the UAE in São Paulo, attended and crowned winners at this prestigious event. His presence underscored the importance of this championship within the global Arabian horse community.
Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi expressed immense pride in the success of this first edition in South America. He stated that it embodied Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan's vision and Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan's follow-up efforts. Al Harbi noted that this championship was part of a larger festival celebrating Arabian horses in Brazil.
Al Harbi also praised the organisation and execution of all shows within the cup so far. He highlighted that hosting such an event in Brazil was significant due to its long-standing history with Arabian horses. "We are proud to support Arabian horse owners and breeders as that is one of our main goals with the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup," he concluded.
