Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup Sees 98 Horses Compete At VeronaFiere In Italy
The ninth stage of the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup's second edition took place at the VeronaFiere Exhibition Centre in Verona, Italy. Abdullah Ali Al Saboosi, UAE Ambassador to Italy, and Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), attended the event. They joined other officials and Arabian horse owners in Italy to crown the winners.
The championship showcased 98 horses from about 72 owners. It included qualifying rounds for yearling fillies and colts, as well as categories for 2- and 3-year-olds, mares, and stallions. The event concluded with final championships that awarded gold medals to the winners.

In the Yearling Fillies Championship, "Pavala RA" secured the gold medal for owner Czeslaw. "Sana OS" won gold in the Junior Fillies Championship for Lubochnia Arabians. Meanwhile, "Siena Del Palazzo," owned by Cannata Giuseppe Antonio, triumphed in the Senior Mares Category.
For male horses, "Tofaan Sweetat" claimed victory in the Yearling Colts Championship, earning a gold medal for Mg Arabians S.N.C. In the Junior Colts Championship, "STY Elijah" took home gold for Steylaers Giovanna. Lastly, "Jasmin Z" emerged victorious in the Senior Stallions Championship for owner Angelo Pasi.
The Italian leg coincided with Verona's Fieracavalli Exhibition, established in 1898. This renowned equestrian event blends sport, culture, tourism, and innovation. It attracts over 700 exhibitors from 25 countries across various sectors such as equestrian equipment and rural tourism.
The Emirates Arabian Horse Society emphasized that this championship continues to enhance its international reputation. The Italian stage is a crucial European stop on the Cup's journey. This reflects its growing global momentum and highlights the UAE's leadership in supporting Arabian horse owners and breeders.
Upcoming Final Round
The second edition of EAHGC will conclude next month with its tenth round in Kuwait after visiting ten countries across multiple continents. This demonstrates UAE's dedication to preserving authentic Arab heritage while promoting Arabian horses globally.
