Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup China 2025 Concludes With Exciting Competitions And Cultural Significance
The fourth round of the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup took place in Qingdao, China. This event was under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and supervised by Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan. The competition spanned two days at the Scoda Pearl International Expo Centre, featuring 77 horses from about 34 Chinese owners.
Several notable figures attended the opening ceremony, including Nurlan Yermekbayev, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation; Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director General of the EAHS; GAO Jian, Vice Mayor of Qingdao City; and Yue Gaofeng, Secretary-General of the China Horse Industry Association. The championship drew a large audience, indicating significant public interest.
The event showcased a vibrant competitive spirit and high technical standards. In the Yearling Fillies category, Ai Mi Li won gold for Xinda Bohan Horses. Raya Al Khour, owned by Ba Zengzhi, secured gold in Junior Fillies. Wadha Al Aghar claimed gold in Senior Mares for Guo Huawen. Ke Li Si Ting won Yearling Colts gold for Yu Jianye.
This round highlighted strong ties between the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS) and the China Horse Industry Association. Both organisations signed a memorandum to enhance cooperation and expertise exchange. This aims to improve Arabian horse care and development according to top international standards.
Kai Lei Si excelled in Junior Colts for Wang Xin, who also owned Sinmar Al Bidayer, winner in Senior Stallions. The EAHGC is a global initiative with ten rounds worldwide. It supports horse owners and breeders while promoting purebred Arabians' prominence.
The UAE remains committed to preserving cultural heritage through this initiative. It underscores its role in safeguarding authentic Arab traditions' legacy by supporting Arabian horses globally.
