Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup 2nd Edition Concludes In Kuwait
The second edition of the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup ended at Bait Al Arab Arena in Kuwait, after an international tour across several continents. Around 150 horses owned by 91 participants contested the final leg, which featured qualifying, championship and award rounds for different age and gender classes of Arabian horses.
Across all its international stages, the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup drew 791 horses representing about 460 owners, with total prize money of AED3.986 million. Overall, 488 horses and 342 owners achieved podium finishes, underscoring steady global interest in Arabian horse shows and confirming the event’s expanding international footprint.

The Kuwait finale included qualifying classes for Yearling Fillies, Yearling Colts, Junior Colts, Senior Mares and Senior Stallions, before moving to championship rounds that decided the medal winners. The competition attracted Arabian horse studs and private owners, delivering a dense schedule of judging, with points leading directly to the final championship placements.
In the Yearling Fillies Championship, Rewaya Al Fayyad, owned by Mosleh Al Enezi, secured the gold medal. Seetah Al Seet captured silver for owner Khaled Al Azmi, while Asayel Nadera, owned by Othman Al Obaid, received the bronze. The category highlighted emerging young fillies that had progressed through earlier qualifying heats during the final leg.
The Junior Fillies Championship ended with DOC Jailan, owned by Fahad Alkandari, taking gold. Nourah Al Badwah earned silver for owner Abdulrahman Mohammed Alajmi, and Alihandra of Al Dhafrah Stud finished third with bronze. These results confirmed the strong presence of regional studs alongside individual owners in developing younger mares for future senior competitions.
Among older mares, Abhar Maleekah, owned by Hussain and Khalifah Al Dabbous, won gold in the Senior Mares Championship. Asayel Madarah of Al Jasmi Stud took the silver medal, while Justicia AE, owned by Mohammed Essam Al Sahhaf, claimed bronze. The senior mares’ performances underlined the depth of established bloodlines present at the Kuwait leg.
In the Yearling Colts Championship, Asayel Majd, owned by Khaled Al Nughaimshi, captured gold. Sultan Banat Al Reeh won silver for owner Abdulaziz Al Jassar, while HMF Jaber, owned by Hamad Al Enezi, finished third with bronze. The rankings reflected close judging in a class featuring promising young colts with strong conformation.
The Junior Colts Championship saw Almuhannad Aljasmi take gold for Al Jasmi Stud. Abhar Rashad gave owners Hussin and Khalifa Al Dabbous the silver medal, and Qais Al Fayyad, owned by Mosleh Al Enezi, took bronze. These junior colts are expected to progress towards senior level competition in future regional and international shows.
Senior stallions concluded the championship schedule. Waseem Al Bahya, owned by Meshal Salem Al Mesbah, won the gold medal. Hafeet, owned by Abdullateef Al Rumaih, earned silver, while Dollar Al Remas, owned by Ali Al Hendal, took bronze. This class brought together experienced stallions, often central to breeding programmes for Arabian studs.
