Fontainebleau To Host 4th Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup Show In 2024
The first Saturday of June 2024 will mark the commencement of the 4th Show of the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup 2024. This event, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), will take place at the Equestrian Arena Le Grand Parquet in Fontainebleau, France.
This show is notable as it is the first to be held in Europe as part of the Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup. It will run in conjunction with the "City of Kings Show" Championship. The Emirates Arabian Horse Global Cup was officially launched last September under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed and with close follow-up by Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of EAHS.

The tournament includes 10 rounds held across various regions including the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Australia, and both South and North America. These events are coordinated with competent authorities in each country and offer valuable cash prizes for the first five winners of each round.
Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan confirmed that the 4th show in this Cup, which will take place in Fontainebleau, is significant as it is the first round to be held on European soil. He noted that three shows aim to support owners and breeders by providing them with prestigious tournaments and valuable prizes.
Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad added that the three shows held thus far have succeeded in reaching their targeted areas. The high demand for participation confirms that they are on the right path to support and develop Arabian horse show activities globally.
Le Grand Parquet in Fontainebleau is one of Europe's most important sites for equestrian events. It has witnessed many significant moments in equestrian sports during the 20th century. The venue spans around 30 hectares, can accommodate over 10,000 people, and is located near Orly Airport.
