Emirates Enhances Dubai-Cairo Route With Six Additional Weekly Flights Starting December 2025

Emirates will enhance its Dubai-Cairo route with six extra weekly flights starting 1st December 2025. These flights are strategically timed to align with the airline's extensive global network, addressing the heightened demand during the peak winter season. This expansion reflects Emirates' commitment to meeting the growing travel needs between Egypt and other destinations.

From 1st February 2026, Emirates plans to increase this service to a daily flight. The new schedule will complement the existing four daily flights, showcasing confidence in fulfilling both leisure and business travel demands in Egypt. The Boeing 777 will operate these flights, ensuring smooth connections with key Asian destinations like Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.

The additional frequency aims to strengthen ties between Egypt and the UAE by boosting connectivity and cargo capacity. With an added 300 tonnes of cargo space available weekly via the Boeing 777's belly, trade links between the two countries are set to flourish. This move underscores Emirates' role as a vital partner in Egypt's aviation sector.

Cairo stands out as one of Emirates' earliest destinations and remains a priority market for the airline. The city already enjoys the highest deployment of Emirates A380s in the Middle East and North Africa outside Dubai. With the introduction of a fifth daily service, Cairo will become the most served city in Emirates' African network.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, stated that Cairo is a crucial hub for both passengers and cargo. "The additional service will make it easier for customers to connect across our network," he said, highlighting its importance in fostering trade and tourism links between Egypt, the UAE, and beyond.

Since its inaugural flight in 1986, Emirates has been a steadfast partner in Egypt’s aviation landscape. Over time, it has expanded operations significantly by increasing frequencies and serving over 10 million passengers to and from Egypt. This ongoing commitment highlights Emirates' dedication to supporting Egypt's tourism and trade sectors.

The enhanced services on the Dubai-Cairo route not only cater to increased passenger demand but also bolster economic ties through improved cargo capabilities. As Emirates approaches four decades of service in Egypt, these developments reaffirm its long-term investment in strengthening connections within this vital market.
