Emarat Al Aman 2023: Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Launches Fifth Edition Of Dubai Competition
H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, inaugurated the fifth edition of the 'Emarat Al Aman' competitions at Dubai Mall's Zabeel Sports District. The event, organised by Dubai's Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) in partnership with Emaar, will continue until 7th November.
The opening ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including Awad Hader Al Muhairi, Chairman of SIRA; Khalifa Ibrahim Al Saleis, CEO of SIRA; Yousuf Al Shaibani, CEO of the Dubai Electronic Security Centre; and Omar Al-Adidi, Secretary-General of the Dubai Council for Border Crossing Points Security.
Launched in 2018, 'Emarat Al Aman' aims to boost security awareness and community involvement. Since its inception, over 500 teams and 4,200 participants have engaged in this event. It encourages active participation from both public and private sectors as well as the broader community, reflecting the UAE's core values of unity and collaboration.
This year's edition includes a variety of physical and mental challenges designed to improve teamwork, leadership skills, and strategic thinking among participants. The event is supported by strategic partners such as UXI, Fly Dubai, Emirates NBD, U by Emaar, Emaar Gift Cards, with Dubai Media serving as the official media partner.
The fifth edition introduces new side events that extend beyond traditional challenges. Highlights include an art exhibition featuring a photo gallery that documents the event’s journey over its five editions. Another exhibition offers visitors an interactive artistic experience with renowned artists.
SIRA has developed new challenges this year to elevate competition standards and excitement among teams vying for significant prizes. Additionally, special gifts are available for both participants and visitors to enhance their experience at the event.
The 'Emarat Al Aman' competitions continue to be a platform for fostering security awareness while promoting community engagement through innovative activities and challenges. This initiative aligns with the UAE's commitment to unity and collaboration across various sectors.
