Top Boxers Face Off At Rising Stars Arabia In Abu Dhabi Today
The third edition of the Rising Stars Arabia (RSA 3) pro boxing series, a pioneering event in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, is set to unfold today at Yas Links Golf Course in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This outdoor event showcases a lineup of highly anticipated matches, including a 10-round main event featuring Moroccan super featherweight Jaouad "The Moroccan Bomber" Belmehdi against Ghanaian star Alfred Lamptey.
Belmehdi, with a record of 19-1-3 and 9 KOs, is a former French Lightweight Champion currently on a three-fight winning streak. His opponent, the undefeated Alfred Lamptey (13-0, 9 KOs), is ranked No.1 in Ghana and Africa and holds titles such as the World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth Silver and World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Youth champion.

In the co-featured eight-round event, UAE's own Fahad "Kid Emirati" Al Bloushi (13-1, 3 KOs), the most experienced Emirati boxer with 14 professional fights, will face Venezuelan lightweight Andres Garcia (14-7-1, 11 KOs). Al Bloushi enters the ring on a 12-fight win streak, highlighting his prowess and determination.
Another highlight of the evening is the undefeated UAE super flyweight Sultan Al Nuaimi (10-0, 6 KOs) going against Eliu Canario (14-3, 11 KOs) in a 10-round bout. Additionally, Iraq light heavyweight prospect Amer Kadhum Ghaneem (3-0, 1 KO) faces his most challenging opponent yet, WBC Asian Continental Super Middleweight Champion Wulamu Tulake (11-3-1, 6 KOs).
