The sermon, delivered by Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, emphasized the profound significance of righteousness ('Birr') in both faith and societal duties. He articulated that righteousness entails the proliferation of good deeds and kindness, a principle extensively highlighted in the Holy Quran. Dr. Al Darei underscored that an ideal society thrives on righteousness, where every individual is treated with the highest degree of kindness and respect.

He elaborated on the pivotal role of righteousness in shaping a commendable society, stressing that it should be the cornerstone of actions towards one another, especially during the auspicious time of Eid. He called upon the congregation to emulate the virtues of their forebears, whose dedication to their values and homeland laid the foundation for a society marked by security, prosperity, and stability. According to him, these efforts have culminated in God's blessings upon the UAE, making it a beacon of safety and success.

After the prayers, a moment of reflection was observed as His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and the attending Sheikhs recited Al-Fatiha for the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, seeking eternal peace and mercy for his soul from the Almighty. This gesture underscored the deep reverence and gratitude towards the founding father's legacy.

The event also served as an opportunity for His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to exchange Eid greetings with those present, fostering a sense of community and shared joy on this significant occasion.

The presence of numerous Sheikhs and officials, including Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, highlighted the unity and collective spirit of the UAE leadership and its people during such celebratory times.
