Eid Al Etihad Celebrates UAE's Bright Future Of Joy And Peace, Says Fujairah Ruler
H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, reflected on the UAE's journey towards a promising future as it marks its 53rd Eid Al Etihad. He noted that the nation has become a global example in politics, economy, culture, and tolerance due to 53 years of dedication and innovation.
Sheikh Hamad paid tribute to the founding of the UAE on 2nd December 1971 by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He honoured the decisive actions taken by the founding fathers in establishing the United Arab Emirates. His Highness stated, "History records actions, not intentions, and let history bear witness to your deeds, which have reached new heights, driven by noble intentions inspired by the values and perseverance of our ancestors."

The leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was also praised by Sheikh Hamad. He acknowledged how Sheikh Mohamed continues the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed, steering the country towards further accomplishments. The unity among people has been pivotal to UAE's strength over the years.
"Over the years, the unity of the people has been the key to their strength, with each generation building on the legacy of the one before," he remarked. This unity has allowed each generation to build upon previous achievements, ensuring continuous progress for the nation.
Sheikh Hamad expressed admiration for how 53 years of history cannot be summed up in words alone. He stated, "Fifty-three years of history cannot be captured in words alone. Glory to you, for your history, present, and future. Glory to the UAE’s flag, which will remain high and proud forever."
The nation's roots are deeply embedded in its past while it aspires towards a bright future. The UAE's journey is marked by growth and prosperity as it continues to thrive with its foundations firmly rooted in history.
